As much as I love Wrigley, the cynic in me says the stadium’s days are numbered. The state, the city, God, Jesus and the ghost of Hack Wilson can try all the legal maneuvering they want to keep Wrigley the way it is. But nobody can stop Zell from building a nice, new modern stadium in northern Cook County, and moving the team there. I hope it never happens, but I think it’ll happen sooner than later.
